About the Dictionary of Psychology

This dictionary is based largely on the hardcover edition edited by Selçuk Budak first published in January, 2001 by Science and Arts Publishing House, Ankara. It was reprinted in 2003 and 2005.

The Editor has a BA in Psychology. He translated around 25 books on psychology, especially on psychoanalysis including major works of Sigmund Freud, and all books by Karen Horney. Currently, he is working as a freelance Turkish translator, and is planning to expand the hardcover edition to incorporate new concepts in psychology. In the new edition, Artificial Intelligence will be his focus for expanding the Dictionary.
